Today was a major event for Emmaus House, and the Order of Saint Patrick. Today, we made an offer on a three acre property in Edgewood, New Mexico. The house has four bedrooms and two and a half baths. The fireplace in the living room is sure to get plenty of use this coming winter.
The property has a commercial water well. We should be able to either sell off the water rights; or, in the alternative, sell water to a water bank. As luck would have it, a professor at UNM actually has a water bank up and running. And, in the Artesia; Carlsbad; Hobbs area there are at least two other water banks.
We are asking God to help make that commercial water well a viable income for us. And, we also ask that you please offer prayers on our behalf.
We are also making an offer on the property in Old Town, Albuquerque's tourist trap, this week. We are submitting to the owner. If the owner does not accept the offer; the city will declare it an attractive nuisance and then turn the property over to us and send our offer on to the owner, whether he likes it or not. This house was used to manufacture Meth making it necessary to demolish almost 90% of the existing structure. It is here we will care for our homeless veterans, most of whom will have only six months to live,
Please do keep us in your prayers as we pray for you.
