We are not a preaching or teaching order. Our work, our one mission is to provide care and comfort, in an assisted living setting, for homeless veterans passing from this life into the loving arms of our Father. We are caregivers, that is our mission, our work in this life.
Along with our assisted living facility we provide shelter for homeless veterans along with the pathway to self-sufficiency. These are men and women who were, at some point in their lives, ready and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf.
How can we, as a nation, compensate someone for the lose of arms, legs, hearing or sight? How do we, as a nation, compensate our veterans who suffer psychologically with PTSD as a direct result of the horrors of war? The short answer is, "You don't!" No amount of money can compensate for such loses. We can, to the best of our abilities, answer the silent call of these men and women, who answered the call of our nation in it's time of need, in their time of need. We can be there for them, even as they were there for us.
