In Ireland and Scotland sheep fields and cornfields are often protected by stone walls built without using cement. One day a tourist took a photo of a section of such a wall which had been broken down for what seem like a very long time. However, it was easy to note recent repairs had begun on that stretch of broken down wall. The tourist rested on the wall and meditated.
People who want their own way, or who are empire builders, or who dismiss other people, are like the crumbling wall. People who build one another up, and do right with God in a natural way, are like the restored wall.
Whether we know it, or not, whether we admit it, or not, we come from the one true Source, and we belong to one another. But, we have become fragmented. Only a miracle can move us from fragmentation to unity. That miracle is possible. It is in our midst. We are the answer, if we so choose.
