Prayer, in the broadest sense of the definition, may be either a silent contemplation; or, it may also be said aloud, in spoken word, to God. The prayer of all prayers is a prayer given rise by pure, unconditional love. The greater the measure of unconditional love in such a prayer, the greater the communion between the soul and God, the greater the bond between the two.
Sometimes our prayers are short, at others they are long and drawn out. Our prayer time is that time we spend alone with the Beloved, open, honest, sincere, and transparent. Personal prayer is the time when we bare our souls to God, through Christ. The more our prayers arise out of unconditional love for all others, the more acceptable our prayers come, in His eyes.
